The Bobcats, led by Dave Campbell’s Magazine’s 2A Coverboy Armando Lujan, had an exceptional season in 2023– making it all the way to the 2A DII State Semifinal before losing to the eventual champions in that classification— the Albany Lions.
With 17 returning starters and a move up in class to 2A DI, the Bobcats will be dangerous again this fall and Coach Wes Boatmun will have them ready; they just won’t be sneaking up on anyone, not that it matters anyway because they will be too good for most their opponents regardless. One important note for the Bobcats is they have moved up to 2A DI this season.
