NBA PLAYOFF CENTRAL, DAY TWELVE: MAVS TAKE CONTROL, HEAT ARE ELIMINATED

Day twelve of the NBA playoffs was a doubleheader between the Boston Celtics versus the Miami Heat and the Dallas Mavericks against the Los Angeles Clippers. Here is a recap of both.

Boston—- The Celtics, led by Derrick White and Jaelyn Brown’s 25 points apiece, blew out the Miami Heat, 118-84 and eliminated the Miami Heat in the process. Boston will await the winner of the Cleveland-Orlando series. The Cavaliers lead the series, 3-2 with game six taking place tomorrow in Orlando.

Los Angeles—- Luka Doncic scored 35 points and tallied 10 assists and gave the Clippers their largest loss in their history, 123-93. The Mavericks will go home for game six Friday with a chance to eliminate the Clippers and advance to the Western Conference Semifinals.
