BROWN, FOSTER HEADLINE TALENTED LIST OF RETURNING 806 WIDE RECEIVERS

The 806 Football season is fast approaching and we will be highlighting some positions and players that will thrive for their teams in those spots. Let’s take a look at the top five receivers in the 806 area as we head into week one of the 2026 season.

1. KYRON BROWN- PALO DURO DONS-2027

Kyron is a dangerous player for the Dons and also one of the most recruited players in recent memory in the 806 area. He already had 30 offers and then went to an invitation-only camp at the University of Texas this summer and did so well, they offered him on the spot and he committed to the Longhorns the week after. He’s going to have a huge season as will Palo Duro.

2. CHASE FOSTER-ESTACADO MATADORS 2029

The great reality for Chase is he already has two offers heading into his Sophomore season including one from Texas Tech: one of the fastest-rising P4 Colleges in the Nation. Coach Ward’s offense is Air Raid so he will get his targets.. That’s all Chase needs and he’ll do the rest. Will he lead and help the Matadors to overcome some adversity this season? That’s his next step: a step I think he’s ready to take.

3. GORDO ESTRADA- PERRYTON RANGERS 2027

Gordo can flat-out go for the Rangers and his numbers last year, that included over 1,300 yards receiving on 107 catches with 16 touchdowns, should tell you all you need to know about Estrada. I think Cooper Schilling will take that next step for Perryton and cut down on his interceptions and maybe play his way to an All-State placement at Quarterback and Gordo should do the same! They will compete and could be a 2-seed in their district and make a run in 4A DII tournament.

4. PIERCE FIORONI- LIBERTY PATRIOTS 2027

Pierce is a monster! He is fierce, precise in-and-out of his cuts, doesn’t drop the ball and is a very reliable target with great awareness. He has multiple offers coming into his Senior season but he’s not satisfied. Fioroni wants to be one of those leaders in the locker room to help the Patriots make a deep run in the playoffs this season and with a great quarterback in Cy Leach with him, they will make some noise this fall. Will the noise still be coming from Woodrow Road in the fourth round of the dance where Brock will be waiting?!?!

5. NOAH CLARK- LUBBOCK-COOPER 2028

Noah is another great prospect for the Pirate Nation as Coach Darden and his offense ALWAYS have a great receiver in the mix every season. Noah is explosive at the line and will require, wait a minute let me say this: demand a double team or someone over the top or he’s going to make every team pay dearly. Himself and 2029 Quarterback Cooper Luensmann are about to carve up some defenses the next two years on Woodrow Road. Will there be growing pains? Yes. Will the polished product be magnificent? Heck Yes!
