STEPHENSON, MATADORS ROUT LOBOS IN FINAL DISTRICT MATCHUP

The Estacado Matadors, who are led by State Champion Head Coach Tony Wagner, are on a roll right now and that dominance was put on display Tuesday Night with a 67-point victory over the Levelland Lobos, 99-32 to clinch an undefeated District 5-4A run for Estacado.

Moses Stephenson led all scorers with 20 points and some electrifying dunks in the first half as the starters did not play much in the second. Tim Perez, Shakure Wilbon and the entire Matadors team all scored in the contest. The Matadors will be 4A Big School for the playoffs that start Monday and will be favored to make it to the State Championship Game.
