In their first matchup, Oregon got the best of Ohio State in a 32-31 win in an instant classic. This time around, Ohio State blitzed the Ducks early; jumping out to a 34-0 lead in the second quarter before they took their foot off the gas in a 41-21 win.
Freshman sensation Jermiah Smith had seven catches for 187 yards and two touchdowns for the Buckeyes; 165 of those yards and the two touchdowns came in the first half! Will Howard also had a great game for Ohio State as the year will now get Texas in the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Cotton Bowl.
