The 3-5A and 4-5A Area meet is tomorrow and it will not disappoint as we have some ballers on the track and field that we all should keep an eye on! Here are five of the athletes that will definitely put on a show tomorrow!
1. Adam Burlison- Amarillo High School @Adamburlison10
Adam ran at the Texas Relays last weekend and he finished in the top five in the 1600M run with a 4:06.52; beating out some college athletes already for the school he has committed to in the Texas Longhorns. He’ll put on a show tomorrow morning.
2. Michael Dever- Lubbock-Cooper High School https://twitter.com/michaelldever3
Michael can High Jump with the best of them and almost made it to State last year as he was in the final four. Dever also can play some football and has five Division One offers at the wide receiver position and counting! He can play!
3. Allen Gant- Coronado High School– https://twitter.com/allengant24
Allen is a speedster and will be a favorite to win the 100M and the 200M races tomorrow as he went 10.48 and 10.52 in the last two track meets in the 100, and had sub-22 times in the 200. Gant also has a ton of Power 5 offers including Texas Tech at Corner/Saftey in the 2025 class
4. Bailey Springer- Monterey High School
Bailey also runs the long distance events for the Lady Plainsmen Track and Field team and has committed to Louisiana Tech to run at the Division One level. She will give it her all and it is fun to watch her compete!

We haven’t got to see much of them this season, but we will see a lot of them the next two weekends. They went and got some experience at the Texas Relays and now will use that and their exceptional training to try and get some athletes to the Regional Meet and State meet in early May.
