PENN STATE ADVANCES TO CFP SEMIFINAL WITH DOMINANT WIN OVER BOISE STATE

Nick Singleton put an exclamation point on the win for the Penn State Nittany Lions over Boise State with a 58-yard back-breaking touchdown run to give the Nittany Lions a 31-14 lead late in the fourth.

Ashton Jeanty was held in check for really the first time all year with getting just over 100 yards on 35 carries and no touchdowns. Jeanty also fumbled twice in this game; which was shocking considering he only had one fumble all season.

Penn State will now await the winner of Georgia vs Norte Dame on New Year’s Day at the Sugar Bowl to play on the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Orange Bowl on January 9th.
