New York—- The New York Liberty defeated the Indiana Fever today for the second-straight game and move their record to an early 3-0 on the season with a 91-80 victory. Caitlin Clark looked a lot better today with 22 points, seven rebounds and six assists in the losing effort.
Breanna Stewart led New York with 24 points, five rebounds and three blocks in the game while Sabrina Ionescu hit four threes for her 12 points on the afternoon. For the Fever, who are 0-3 on the season, they will need to find out how to get her more shot attempts as she only had 18 of those in the game.
The Indiana Fever will look to secure their first win of the season when they play Monday against the Undefeated Connecticut Sun, and the Liberty will try to stay undefeated when they take on the Seattle Storm at home Monday as well.
