OGUNBOWALE SCORES 14 IN 4TH TO LEAD DALLAS TO SEASON-OPENING WIN

DALLAS—. The Arike Ogunbowale show continued as she took over the fourth quarter for the Dallas Wings to help propel her team to a 87-79 win over the Chicago Sky to open the season with a victory. Arike scored 14 of her 25 points in the fourth quarter and had seven assists to keep Dallas close as the Sky almost pulled away a few times in the game and even holding a double-digit lead in the second quarter.

Dallas shot %45.1 percent from the court while Chicago shot just over %38 percent. Dallas had 60 points in the paint, compared to the Sky’s 42 and Angel Reese scored 12 points with seven rebounds and one assist in her pro debut. Both of these teams will do it again on Saturday Night in front of another sold out crowd at the College Park Center in Arlington, TX.
