WNBA HAPPENINGS THIS WEEK

This was a loaded week in the WNBA; from the Las Vegas Aces visiting the White House, to Toronto being awarded a franchise that will start play in 2026. Here is all the happenings in the WNBA that were of interest this week!

1. LAS VEGAS ACES VISIT THE WHITE HOUSE

The Aces won the title last season and their reward was another trip to the White House again to mingle amongst the leaders of our Country!

2. A’JA WILSON SIGNS ENDORSEMENT DEAL WITH GATORADE

Las Vegas A’ja Wilson signed an endorsement deal with Gatorade! Wilson is getting her just due as she is the best player in the league, and on the best team in the WNBA.

3. CANDACE PARKER BECOMES PRESIDENT OF ADIDAS WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

After retiring from the WNBA and having an illustrious career, Candace Parker has been named the President of Adidas Women’s Basketball! She will do great, just like Parker does in all of her other roles!

4. THE SEATTLE STORM LOOK TO CONTEND FOR A TITLE THIS SEASON

Toronto has been awarded a WNBA expansion team, to be led by billionaire Larry Tanenbaum and Kilmer Sports Inc. The franchise is expected to launch in 2026.
