New York— The Knicks and Pacers Eastern Conference Series kicked off tonight at the Madison Square Garden and it was electric as Jalen Brunson scored 43 points for the Knicks— his fourth-straight 40-point game in the playoffs— and led the Knicks to a 121-117 win over the Indiana Pacers
The Villanova connection of Brunson, Donte Divincenzo and Josh Hart combined for 92 of New York’s 121 points while Brunson scored 21 points in the fourth quarter, which allowed him to Join Jerry West, Michael Jordan and Bernard King with players that have scored 40 points in the playoffs for at least four games in a row; Jerry West had six in a row. Game two will be Wednesday night back in New York.
