Los Angeles—- The Lakers finally held a substantial lead after three quarters in their series against the Denver Nuggets and avoided being swept with a 119-108 win. Lebron James scored 30 points, Anthony Davis had 25 points and 23 rebounds while Austin Reaves and D’Angelo Russell scored 21 points as the Lakers got their first win over Denver in 11 tries! The Lakers will look to stay alive in the series when they travel to Denver for Game 5.
New Orleans—- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 24 points while Jalen Williams and Josh Giddy both pitched in 21 points for the Oklahoma City Thunder in their 106-85 win over the New Orleans Pelicans that pushed them to the brink of elimination with a 3-0 series deficit. Brandon Ingram tallied 19 in the loss for the Pelicans, but it wasn’t enough as the Thunder rolled to victory.
Miami—- The Celtics bounced back from dropping their last game at home to Miami by blowing them out, 104-84 and it really wasn’t as close as the score indicated. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown had 22 points on the night and a lot of contributions from their teammates ima great defensive effort. Boston now leads the series, two games to one.
Orlando—- The Magic, led by Franz Wagner’s 34 points, routed the Cavaliers again in a 112-89 win over Cleveland to tie the best of seven series at two games apiece. Cleveland will need to find their mojo as Orlando has found some things that are working on both sides of the court and will look o take the lead over the Cavaliers in their rubber match on Monday.
