The Floydada Whirlwinds had a great week; a week that included a huge win over #5 New Home on Friday which has catapulted the Whirlwinds to fifth in the state, followed by the Leopards at number six in 2A! Rooes is also in at #25 in 2A as well!
In 5A, we have Amarillo ranked 20th and Palo Duro is ranked 22nd ahead of their huge matchup in SandieLand on Tuesday Night in a huge district contest. In 4A, Canyon Randall is ranked second in the state, while Estacado is ranked seventh.
In 3A, Shallowater is ranked fifth in the state, followed by Brownfield and Slaton; who are ranked 13th and 18th, respectively. And Lastly in 1A, Jayton is ranked first as they are just getting rounded into form, coming off of a state title in 6-man football this season.
