ROBINSON, JARNAGIN IMPRESS IN SCRIMMAGE SATURDAY

High School Football in the 806 is creeping up on us and we are officially eleven days away from our first set of games on August 29th in the Region. So, getting a look at two teams in Panhandle and Idalou was very important to me and luckily, they scrimmaged right down the street from me in Idalou yesterday.

Idalou vs Panhandle Scrimmage on August 17th: Jasone Pearson

As we know, we can’t take a lot of things that happen from a scrimmage too serious— especially with the ones— because in a lot of cases, these teams will see eachother again, or coaches that play those teams will ask for film to help beat you. But, there were a couple of players that stood out to me yesterday in the scrimmage.

LUCAS JARNAGIN- IDALOU

Lucas looked great yesterday! I noticed him a lot in the backfield, and even at quarterback a few plays as he ran for over 100 yards and had a score with the ones against Panhandle’s ones’ defense. I know he has a few offers in the 2025 class and will pick up more through the season. He is definitely sharpening his craft for his Senior season with the Idalou Wildcats.

BROXTON ROBINSON- PANHANDLE

Broxton Robinson is a player: Can do it all on the field and he obviously is a huge cog in Coach Ashley’s offense…and defense! I did not know who he was until the scrimmage yesterday because of all his electric plays in the game! He runs fiercely, can pass it good enough to keep teams honest and is clutch; something that will come in handy with the Panthers’ tough 2024 schedule! Keep an eye out for him in the 2026 class as he will pick up steam as well through the fall.

SOME PHOTOS FROM YESTERDAY

We want to wish both these teams luck and safe travels throughout their 2024 season.
