Minnesota—- Denver started the first quarter on a 9-2 spurt and then the Timberwolves checked in the game and went on a 20-0 run and led, 31-14 after the quarter. It was over after that as Minnesota dominated the game, led by Anthony Edwards 27 points in the contest.
The Timberwolves also finished strong as they outscored the Nuggets, 29-9 in the last period to win the contest, 115-70 and force a game seven on Sunday afternoon in Denver. Nikola Jokic scored 22 points with nine rebounds and only two assists on the night.
