It was a three game slate tonight for the NBA and two of those games were elimination games as the Los Angeles Lakers and the New Orleans Pelicans were knocked out of playoff contention by the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Denver Nuggets.

Denver—— Jamal Murray put on a show for the Nuggets with 32 points and two clutch plays down the stretch to lead the Nuggets to victory, 108-106 to eliminate the Lakers for the second year in a row from the postseason. Murray had a thunderous dunk over Lebron James and hit the game-winning shot with 3.6 seconds to go to secure the win for Denver. Nikola Jokic has 25 points, 20 rebounds and nine assists on the night as well for the Nuggets, who will face Minnesota in the Western Conference Semifinals on Saturday.

New Orleans—- The Pelicans were stymied on offense again tonight and were eliminated in a sweep by the Oklahoma City Thunder, 97-89. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 24 points and Jalen Williams also scored 24 points and played some lock down defense. The Thunder will now await the winner of the Mavericks vs Clippers series, which is tied at two games apiece.

Miami—- Derrick White scored a career playoff high 38 points and Boston cruised to a 102-88 win to take a 3-1 series lead over the Miami Heat and are now one win away from advancing to the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Jayson Tatum scored 20 points, while Jaylen Brown pitched in 17 points in an impressive team win for Boston.
