NBA PLAYOFF CENTRAL DAY TWO: CLIPPERS PULL AWAY, CELTICS BLITZ THE HEAT

Boston— The Boston Celtics looked like a number one seed in their blowout of Miami, 114-94 to take a 1-0 lead over the Heat. Jayson Tatum had a triple-double for the Celtics with 23 points, ten rebounds and ten assists in the contest, while Bam Adebayo scored 24 for Miami.

Los Angeles— In the second game of the day, the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Dallas Mavericks, 109-97 behind a great performance from James Harden who led the Clippers with 28 points in the game. Luka Doncic’s 33 points weren’t enough as the Mavericks go down, 1-0 in the series.

Milwaukee— Damian Lillard torched the Pacers for 35 points in the first half as the Bucks defeated Indiana, 109-94 to go up 1-0 in the series. Damian Lillard didn’t score in the second half!

Oklahoma City— Over 40 lead changes and a missed game winner at the buzzer by CJ McCollum of New Orleans led to a 94-92 win by the Oklahoma City Thunder. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a clutch shot he made and was fouled that was the difference late for OKC.
