NBA RECAP: THUNDER HAVE TIEBREAKER FOR #1 SEED IN WEST

As the NBA season winds down with only one game left to play for all teams, the Oklahoma City Thunder have one game left to win and they will clinch the number one seed in the stacked Western Conference. Denver and Minnesota also have chances for the top seed, depending on how the results play out after Sunday.

Victor Wembenyama and the Spurs shocked the Denver Nuggets with a 121-120 win last night after being down as much as 23 points in the second half. Wembenyama had 34 points and 12 rebounds in the game to lead the way for the Spurs.

Minnesota gutted out a 109-106 victory over the Atlanta Hawks to keep pace with the Thunder in the Standings and Rudy Gobert had 25 points, 19 rebounds and five blocks on the night. His 10-10 from the field was the most makes without a miss in the Timberwolves franchise history.

The Clippers and the Mavericks are locked in at the four and five seeds and will square off in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs while the Lakers with a big win, and the Warriors with a key loss, are locked into the play-in tournament to get a spot in the playoffs.
